Situated in the western asia, iraq borders with kuwait and saudi arabia to the south and syria to the northeast side. The nation is vested on total 437,072 sq km area which can be segregated into 432,162 sq km & 4,910 sq km land and water area respectively. The nation is endowed with natural resources like petroleum, natural gas, phosphates etc. The country is home to around 28,221,181 people. It has recorded GDP at $102.3 billion with 5% real growth rate. The industry sector is the major contributor followed by service and agriculture sectors. It has total 110 airports which can be divided into 76 airports with paved runways and 34 with unpaved runways.

Business Visa Rules

• A valid passport with 6 months validity.
• Visa application form duly completed and signed.
• 2 recent passport size photographs.
• A business letter written on company's letterhead detailing about purpose of visit and and job position of applicant. It should be signed by an authorized person other than the applicant itself.
• Letter of invitation from company or your business associate in iraq.
• Visa is valid for three months but can be extended further in iraq.
