Situated in amidst of the arctic and atlantic Oceans, greenland is the world's largest island encompassing total area of 2.2 million sq km .It is covered with ice sheet, left only 41,0,000 sq km area uncovered. Around 81% is ice capped. Greenland ice sheet is characterized as the second largest ice sheet in throughout the world. The climate is frigid with the average temperature in the warm months remain near to 10 degree celsius. The nation is divided into total 18 municipalities, headed by the mayor and local council. The country is a place of only 56,326 people, embarking a 100% literacy rate in both male and female groups. GDP (purchasing power parity) of country is recorded at $1.1 billion with 2% real growth rate. By exporting fish and fish products to Denmark, Japan, China etc, greenland has registered $480 million export reserves.

Business Visa Rules

• The business visa application form should be duly completed and signed by the applicant.
• Due care should be taken while filling the application form. All fields must be correctly filled otherwise it will be rejected.
• If required Greenland Embassy can ask for additional documents and the applicant has to submit them.
• It is necessary to submit valid work permit with at least 3 months of validity remaining beyond their return to nation of residence.
