The unitary republic of central and western africa, cameroon is known as 'Africa in miniature' due to its geographical and cultural diversification. It is bounded by nigeria from the west, chad to the northeast, central african republic to the east and equatorial guinea, gabon, and the republic of the congo from the south. Native to over 200 different ethnic and linguistic groups, cameroon is famous for its exquisite music style especially makossa and bikutsi. The human development index for cameroon is 0.532 and it has been placed on the 144 rank out of the total 177 countries. The country is vested on total 475,000 sq. km area. It is the union of the 2 former trust territories of union nations- french cameroun and southern british cameroons, which joined the cameroon in 1960 and 1961 respectively.

Business Visa Rules
  • Passport with 6 months validity.
  • Visa application form duly completed and signed along with the passport size photographs.
  • Letter of invitation from the host company or business associate of cameroon along with the accommodation certificate duly signed by the cameroon police.
  • Applicant is needed to give international certificate of vaccination for yellow fever.
  • Copy of the return ticket or itinerary.
  • Letter written on the company's letterhead stating the purpose, duration of visit along with the guarantee of return transportation to the nation. It should explicitly mention that who will bear all expenses incurred during staying in cameroon. It should be signed by authorized person other than the applicant itself.
