Azerbaijan is bounded with the caspian sea from the eastern side, russia from the north, armenia to the southwest. The nation is bounded by iran to the southern direction and russia is on its northern side. The nation is situated partially n the eastern europe and in western asia and has been characterized as the largest and most populous nation in the south causcasus. Azerbaijan is the esteemed co-founder of the GUAM and the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. It is vested on total 86,600 sq km area of which land encompasses 86,100 sq km and water 500 sq km. Azerbaijan's climate has the partial influence by the cold arctic air masses of scandinavian anticyclone, Central Asian anticyclone and siberian anticyclone. The country is a home to around 8,177,717 people, among which government has successfully achieved literacy rate above 95 per cent.
